Tim Brown
Tim moved to England in late 1987, where he worked for the Analysis Corporation plc and Applied Interactive Technology plc as a Contract/Freelance Analyst Programmer. He returned to Dunedin to become senior programmer at AgResearch's Invermay site. He became development manager and deputy to the corporate manager IT at AgResearch. He also graduated from a Master of Business Administration programme. With his business partner, Ross Brown, Tim co-founded Turing Solutions in 1997, NZ.Com Limited in 1999 and Unify Group in 2000. Tim's software development history includes software for DNA analysis; as well as the more traditional: procurement, document and information management systems. He specialises in strategic software development - allowing businesses to gain competitive advantage from innovative use of information technology. He works with the senior management and/or the internal IT staff of organisations to help the organisation map its strategic path.
